Due to increased activity on the platform, the database underpinning operations requires an increase in resources. This requires a change in configuration and a restart of the database and checks to ensure everything is operating properly. It is a critical operation which must be performed quickly so as to ensure continued smooth operation of the platform.
It will mean that the system is unusable for up to an hour.
